The Elite Asteroid series is designed for bowlers that are developing a hook. Move up from Plastic to Reactive coverstock technology. Compared to Plastic, Reactive coverstock technology increases traction and hooking action in the oil, and Reactive coverstocks can be sanded or shined to create large differences in hook potential. Reactive coverstocks also respond more aggressively to dry lane surfaces than Urethane coverstocks, increasing backend hooking action and hitting power.

I am 67 years old and still love to bowl. Because I throw the ball pretty slow, I have been unable to use most reactive balls. They usually hook too much for me. Therefore I have to settle for plastic. This ball is different. It allows me to use reactive and still control it.
